OTASP Not working

I tried running the VZW OTASP (*22

which usually works just fine. But when I did it this morning I got a recording saying they could not program my phone and to contact customer service from a land line. This sounds sort of fishy to me so I just wanted to check in with the group here to see if anyone has any experience with this or suspicions.

I have a vogue running NFS's v16 with mega and radio 3.37.78. Thanks for any advice in advance.

Should be ok as long as the number they said to call connects to verizon and not some call center in china.

I've got the same problem. With *228 option 1 - I get the "unable to program your phone" recording. Updating my PRL with *228 option 2 still works fine.

I can make and receive calls. GPS still works fine. I did call verizon customer support and they told me not to worry since option 2 still works.

I even re-flashed my radio, called and got another A-key. *228 option 1 still fails.
