I would put the card in an adapter and plug it into your pc or into a reader that is connected to your pc and transfer any files to your pc that you want to save. Then I would reformat the card(Fat32) and then put your data back on the card. You only need to do all this only if you have stuff on the card you want to save. If you don't just reformat it and that should take care of it. Hope that takes care of it!

No, not encrypted. I emailed Kingston, they told me to send it in and they would replace it. It costed me a stamp. Thanks for your help.
