Vogue power button not working. Help please

My father-in-law has a Vogue for Altell and his power button does not work. Does anyone know if Altel/Verizon can repair this phone or if there is a way to "wake" up the phone without using the power button?

i don't think there's way way to keep it awake? maybe restart the phone and hurry and check under the power settings. i would take it in for repairs.

Thanks. I have looked at the power settings and tried to set the camera button to things like phone thinking that pushing and holding the button would wake up the phone but nothing has worked. If anyone has any ideas please share.

try remapping the end key button to wake up the phone. i know in android for the vogue that's what it can do.

So, I have a vogue with this same issue. I was able to set it not to go to sleep, so the phone is always "awake" but as you can imagine this absolutley KILLED my battery life. I am lucky to get 8 hours of battery life now. I was unable to find any way to remap the power button to another key in WM6.5. The android suggestion would work....but can you even put the phone into bootloader without a power key?

this is how you do it Start/System/KeyLock then it will give you three options Lock all buttons except power button, Lock button if device is locked, Do not lock buttons. Choose "Do not lock buttons" and u can push any buttons to wake the phone up without using the power button hope this works for you guys. All i want in return is a THANKS, LOL.
