Screen cracked, have insurance, Vogue still offered?

my wife has a vogue. the screen/case is acting funny, so i started to put in a claim. however, the phone is still working fine otherwise, so we haven't completed it. In any case, ausurion is saying that they are replacing starcomm 6900 with starcomm 6900. We are with sprint.

hey I just read through here and no one gives a definite answer as to if assurion is replacing the vogue with the vogue? Someone said it was with the diamond and the latest post said they were going to replace it with a vogue, which one is it guys? It would be greatly appreciated to get a straight answer on this one.

You should definitely get a Vogue. They are still common enough. There were a lot of Vogues sold so you know there has to be a lot of refurbs out there.

depends on your carrier... last i knew USCC has plenty still available- touch6900 is still sold as a solid smart phone. something you may be able to do is get one from say ebay and work a deal with your insurance company.
i dont think they can just send you a different phone if that is not what you want. if you want a vogue, there is a way to get one.

Just wanted to update this thread for those with Sprint Vogues. Went in Tuesday with a power button that didn't work. Got a refurbished Vogue on Thursday that wouldn't connect to data. Took it back today and was given the option of either a brand new Diamond or Vogue. I told her that I couldn't go to the Diamond because it didn't have a card reader. Asked about the Touch Pro, but was told it's not on the list, so they have ordered me a brand New In Box Vogue that should arrive on Monday! So yes, Virginia, there are still new Vogues out there.

Yep, 7$/month for full cover insurance.

$100 (use to be $50) deduct if:
A) your screen is cracked
B) water dmg
C) Stolen//lost
D) they feel you damaged the device.

If your device has malfunctioned from natural cause other than whats been stated above then they either fix it or give you a refurb.

I'll be taking mine in soon as I'm having issues with my screen. Hope they can fix it or give me a refurb. Can't replace my 16gb card ^^
