Touch being exchanged

I recently ran into a problem with my touch. Anytime the scroll key is pressed the phone goes nuts and continually scrolls the screen. Rather annoying when trying to look up contacts and etc. I have avoided the problem for a month now but eventually the key gets pressed and im stuck for awhile. So I called Sprint and they are sending me a replacement.

So my question to you guys. Do I need to remove the custom ROM and revert it to a sprint only ROM? Does this go for the radio too. I have it unlocked atm does one need to relock it? I dont want some charge coming in for tampering or something of that matter.

Probably a good idea to flash back to stock but it sounds lke a hardware malfunction so you are probably ok.

Always flash a stock ROM before taking the phone in. Technically, a custom ROM voids your warranty, hence the disclaimer that all the chefs put with their ROM releases. They could blame it on the ROM, or whatever. Don't take the chance and just flash a stock ROM and take it in. Gonna hafta do that soon myself, Ive noticed my Vogue's USB port is getting iffy. Gotta do the old jiggle the cable to get it to connect.
