I don't really know what I'm doing, but I renamed system-don't-be-evil.sqsh to system.sqsh and it worked perfectly.

Yeah you usually have to do this with all the system files. Not sure of the reason but its either to differentiate the different builders files or its because if you change it before its on your phone, it screws something up.

Thanks man! Now that I've been using Android and the new phone is out here in the states, I'm wanting to take 6.5 apart and try it out on my 6900.
Thanks for all the help. Everyone here is truly awesome...

Re: Android On Vogue - n00b Guide

Im having an issue on finding the best files for downloading a simply and clean Andriod.

When I click on the link in the OP, Im not finding all the files that are in the installation instrucions.

Is there a .zip file that is an "all-in-one", that i just unzip and run haret?

Thanks and I hate WM so Im real eager to give andriod a go !!

Re: Android On Vogue - n00b Guide

i have tried them all and the best one so far most most stable etc is the ion with google. i installed the htc hero open home skin and it gives me 7 screens and some nice widgets give me a couple of minutes and i will zip it for you. The htc keyboard style is nice as i use the compact qwerty on wm6 i type amazingly fast on it.
