Re: Android On Vogue - n00b Guide
when you download android files, look for the bundles. They have all the files you need. Then delete the similar ones on your sd card.
I think at least, I am a realative noob to android still. |

Re: Android On Vogue - n00b Guide
The above worked for me getting other builds to run so I would give it a shot. Also I just unzip the package on my card and then let it replace whatever it wants.

Re: Android On Vogue - n00b Guide
Alight, I know I am stupid, but I have to ask... (keep in mind I just got android up and running 5 minutes ago - this guide rocks!)
How do you exit out of Android and back to WM? (Assumption is soft reset) Is there a proper way to shut down / restart Android? (Assumption is soft reset and then run haret again to get back into android again) |

Re: Android On Vogue - n00b Guide
I figured it out! On the build I am using, holding down the call hang up for 3+ seconds brings up a menu to shutdown. You then obviously boot back into windows once you power back on.

Re: Android On Vogue - n00b Guide
I'm having 2 problems, and I've tried multiple builds...
1st. I keep having the Voice Dialer popping up all of the time. Is there any way to delete this application or turn it off? I mean, the thing pops up all the time, constantly no matter what application I'm using. Anyone else having this problem??? 2nd - there is nothing mapped for BACK button. I know it's supposed to be the camera button, but it doesn't work for me. Anyway to edit this or remap myself? I'm currenty running the ion, it's the only one I'm able to get fully loaded and running. |

Re: Android On Vogue - n00b Guide
I cannot find a system.img file all I can get is system-10.sqsh that I can't do anything with it. The file in the bundle I downloaded is system-donut1b.sqsh. I'm running vista on my computer and have no way of opening this if it is the compressed system.img file. When I try to run Androind on my vouge it says that system.img could not be found and locks up the run.
