Help needed asap!

i had the 1.7 orange version rom originally on my htc touch 3g.

hardspl'd it and put a winmo 6.5 on there, but radio quality was poor. so followed the procedure to put the stockspl back on there. But nothing else works, I can't restore the original rom as the screen stays at 0%. tried to hardspl it again but that doesn't work either.

hard reset the phone, now it gets as far as customizing and gets stuck. if i leave it long enough it restarts the new set up routine..........

what do i do now .........?

Im not exactly sure what you mean but I've had similar problems in the past. A couple of suggestions but no promises, I'm assuming you used the Coker unlocker. Find his page or thread and see if he has undo instructions. I tried flashing to a non-GPS radio when I already had GPS radio and NEARLY bricked my phone!!!Trust me it took me 2 days to fix that!

Also you may want to try to get back to your other ROM and start all over. The main thing would be to get your phone booting again. If its getting stuck at customization, try finding a SUPER-minimum clean ROM and maybe you can avoid the custom reset.

Also make sure you leave your phone plugged into your USB when flashing a new ROM. I have had MANY ROMs not finish flashing until I plugged it back into the USB.

If all else fails just keep trying different ROMs til you can get one to finalize and then start over with whatever unlocker you did use. I know it isn't much help but I've been in your boat before and I know how frustrating it can be. Good Luck
