Delivery Notifications

I like having delivery notifications sent to me, just to know that the message I sent got delivered (I'm not OCD, but the transition of Alltel/Verizon has been a bit hectic around here)...anyways,

I used to have a PPC6700 (I have a Vogue/6900 now) where when I requested a delivery notification, it was simply delivered inside the threaded SMS with the rest of the conversation - as it sits now, with the PPC6800, and the 6900 i've tried, the delivery notification comes as a brand new message (even when System Administrator is added to the contact list.)

Any feedback from anyone?

Your delivery notifications might be disabled in the registry. You'll have to use a reg editor or a config app like schaps advanced config to change that. If your using a custom rom chances are it's disabled.

now horndoctor if you would of told him where it is in the registry that would help him a lot. im only giving you crap cuz i cant seem to remember where its at either. but ill look and see if i can
EDIT: i cant seem to find it. i believe its called SmsNotification

Yeah, I think it's SmsSentNotification.
Change value to 1 to activate. If you use phmregedit you can do a search of the registry and find it.

i just searched for it again and for some reason i cant find it. i know that i have this enabled as i dont get the little window that comes when i send a txt message. so idk

I found it in the registry hacks thread. Here

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\SMSNoSentMs g set the value to 0

Or, just delete the Settings key. Wait about a minute, soft reset and you'll be rewarded with the little annoying popup that 99% of us regedit out.

life saver. i even searched for sms once i think and coulndnt find it. was wondering how i can have this enabled but not find the registry. thing was i was using the wrong words to search
