Using Vogue as GPS navigator without plan.

Hi everyone! actually I don't want to create a new thread but I been searching around for long time and couldn't find the solution. Here is my question. I got 2 vogues, one subscribe with Sprint and everthing works fine and another one is an extra. I would like to use the extra phone just for GPS navigation but I got very low GPS reception if I compare it too my other Vogue with plan and plus, with this extra phone, I only get the GPS locked onece and then I've never get it lock again. Doe anyone know what is the resistry setting to get a better GPS reception? or which ROM to flash? Thanks

Edit: it is not help. I still got less Satellite on my Vogue.

I have Sprint.. and use my vogue as my primary car navigation. No issues at all if you get the proper ROM and Radio on there. I use MSN BING, Tom Tom, IGO8, and Nav4All. They all have there strength and weaknesses so i just pick the one best for what i need at the moment

yes, you have Sprint but my Vogue doesn't have any carrier. It is a new phone and never been activated. I don't have any problem with my other Vogue with Sprint.

Try using a primer app like gpsviewer or something.

I am using GPSViewer. I only get it lock the first time I flashed the ROM then I never get it lock again. Should I use GPS intermediate driver or Serial GPS? with serial GPS I got some 3 to 4 satellite even in the house but It doens't lock. Any sugessted GPS registry setting?

Disable and Enable but I don't see any different. I think I have to stay with that couple satellites.

why dont you activate the one and de activate the other and see if the one that gets good reception still does unactivated.
