Any way to install a new Text Program?

So the texting on my phone doesn't work anymore for some reason, i started it up and all my text messages and text program in order to text, got deleted.
I tried doing a search but couldn't find what i was looking for. Any help is appreciated.

here you go, this works for me on 6.5

the cab is for the latest palm threaded messaging and it works great!
