Unlock and Flash help SD card

Please help. My USB is shot and I need to unlock and flash from the SD card.
I've tried everything I know of as far as unlocking from the card. It's very late and I've been at this for all night. I'd like to flash to NFSFAN's 6.5 ROM.
From what I've researched you need to format SD to FAT32, rename .nfb to voguimg.nfb. Do I need to unlock first, then flash from card? Or am I blowing smoke at this point. Can you unlock from card even. I am stummped, please help!

unlock first, then flash. You can flash a rom from the microsd card but not unlock.

im not doubting that statement about not being able to unlock from sd card..... But i could have sworn ive seen instructions on unlocking from sd as well..... Like I said im no expert and have never flashed via sd card, but i swear i read ya could.

i just tried this ,, extract Vogue_unlocker_MFG_2.31, find the file Voguimg2.nbh reane to VOGUIMG.nbh put onto sdcard I prefer less than 1 gig formated fat32 ,insert the card into the sd slot, put into bootloader screen power+camera + stylus at the same and you should be away laughin...

screens 1 tri colour
screen 2 loading
screen 3 VOGUIMG.nbh-
BOOTLOADER-
PRESSS POWER BUTTON TO START UPDATE IMAGE
screen 4 update in progress
screen 5 VOGUIMG.nbh-OK
BOOTLOADER-OK
update complete
UPDATE SUCESS

reset the phone with stylus and you will have to read quickly to see if you see this

VOGU100 MFG
SPL-2.31.coke <----- important part
CPLD-3

try this at your own risk

if that all works, flash latest sprint rom with radio 3.42.50, then flash your custom rom

I've formated two different cards, 2gb and original 512. Renamed the .nbh file but when I enter bootloader the phone seems to hang on the loading screen. After work today I will try another card and download fresh files and try again. Running 6.0 stock rom if it makes a diff. Thanks for the help guys.

Got it to work! I had to get the official 6.1 rom and load that via SD first for some reason, but it worked. Will test and config. tonight. A big thankx goes out to everyone who helped.

my vogue gets stuck at the loading screen as well. What did you do to get it to go past the loading screen? i have the stock 6.1 rom now, i'm wanting to go to a 6.5 rom as well. any help would be awesome!
