HTC vogue (touch) unlocked but running into issues

I unlocked my vogue with the 0.40 unlocker (ImCokeMan) i think this may be the cause of my issues as i should have used 2.31 unlocker...

(im a TNZ subscriber)
now im trying to get my handset back to TNZ ROM...

Im using the sd-card method (FAT32 format with VOGUIMG.nbh in the root dir) ... when i do this i get the following screen:

BOOTLOADER - OK
SPLASH1 - OK
SPLASH2 - OK

OS -

Update Terminate
UPDATE FAIL

Stuck here... any ideas guys?

Try using the USB method and put it in bootloader before you connect. The 0.40 should let you fladh the stock ROM that way. It's a pre-GPS unlocker, but according to cokeman it should let itself be overwritten. There may also be a problem with it being on the SD that isn;t letting it write the ROM.

actually just checked again and im on bootloader v0.41 which is write protected... you know any way around that?

what radio version have you got? you will need a non gps radio to start off with

flash this radio attached, flash this my sdcard less than 1gb formatted fat32 ,rename to VOGUIMG.nbh

then flash the original rom found here ftp://ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/ImCoKeMaN/roms/ this is the one you r after TNZ_Vogue_RUU_signed.rar flash by sdcard less than 1gb formatted fat32 renamed the extracted file to VOGUIMG.nbh

now if that all works ok reflash with imcokemans 2.31 unlocker (attached)

then downlaod the offical telecom 6.1 upgrade from the link below ( U will need winrar)

http://cid-0d316441be87b15a.skydrive...px/PPC/TELECOM its in 3 parts just right on anyone of the rar files it with extract RUU_Vogue_TNZ_WWE_3.00.781.3_Radio_3.41.00_Ship, active sync, then run the exe, be warned you will lose phone/text capabilities, but all you have to do is have a spare (prepaid) phone, thats not connected to network , ring telecom and tell then you have just upgraded with the offical okta 6.1 upgrade, then tell them u want to do a esn swap, which means put your okta phone number onto the spare phone, make sure you can ring out on the phone then ask to swap your number back to the okta. takes 5 mins

i got radio 1.59.10a onto the device fine..... but i cant get imcokemans 2.31 unlocker on!

I tried both methods:
1) connecting to the device with USB in boot mode and running 2.31 exe file

2) using the sdcard in FAT32 format with VOGUIMG.nbh image of 2.31 nbh file

Im not sure if there is anyway to overwrite on SLP 0.41.coke (theres been mention of 0.41 being write protected)?

anyway to overwrite 0.41 with 2.31????

1, does the phone into windows os?

2, if it does active sync then run the exe

get the telecom rom which is for radio version you have got now.

yeah phone can get into windows sometimes... but when i run the exe it gets to 44% and then dies....
i dont think it is possible to overwrite the 0.41 unlocker unfortunately!!!

instead of running the unlocker first try flashing the offical upgrade first then retry the unlocker, u shouldnt need it to be unlocked to flash offical rom

unlocker is already on the device if you know what i mean.... when ever i go into boot mode it has .......SPL 0.41 coke

running other boot loaders just doesnt seem to overwrite the 0.41 bootloader.

The official TNZ upgrade has a factory SPL (bootloader) included i think... and this factor SPL cannot overwrite the 0.41 bootloader that is already on the device.

please let me know if im not understanding this bootloader carry on correctly???
