Help with Cricket Flashing in Chicago

Hi;
OK, I've searched for an answer but talk about conflicting info....
I have a SPRINT HTC Touch 6900 that I was told would work with Cricket. I've ported the number to Cricket and Flashed to a Cricket ROM. Cricket enabled the ESN, I've changed the MDN, MIN and SID/NID and uplaoded the PRL. When I do, it says "Digital Roaming" but when I *228, it goes to VERIZON Prog. Can't get this thing to work! I've heard that I cannot use a dual band phone in Chicago since they are set up with Tri band network??? Please help and don't give the "google is your friend" answer. There's way too much out there that points in 20 directions. Thanks!

go over to howard forums.com they have a cricket forum and following the instructions over there i flashed my sprint vogue over to cricket and it has mms/wap working perfectly.... you missed something in the DMrouter settings or the PRL didn;t updated, either way the cricket guru's over at howardforums will help ya out

Thanks, I posted there too but it seems Cricket is TriBand in Chicago and I have a dual band (HTC Touch Vogue)

Yeps your vogue will not work in the a Tri-band area...just like my vogue won't work in Vegas because its a tri-band area as well.

You will need to either find a phone that is cdma and is tri-band capable for the chicago market
