Just flash to the latest rom of your carrier first unless you have it already.
I flashed from 6.0 to 6.1 then 6.5 (sprint). I used the 2.31 unlocker since I read that was the one to use for GPS roms. Only thing I did different from any of the faqs I read was run the unlocker from the OS not the bootloader. Oh yeah, I never had a GPS radio before I flashed. Only other thing I suggest is look at the roms in the upgrade section and read all however plus pages on each to save time and know if it's what you want. Good luck. Any questions just ask around.
