VZW VX6900 I really need help with GPS

GPSviewer primes the GPS and shows you the satellities and if you are locked or not, then once you do you can open google maps.

What should I use to get a lock?

If I may interject with what will be perceived as a very noob question. How do I elect not to let customizations run? I have tried a couple ROMs now and have never been prompted by such a question. I would like to try this fix as my phone needs to be flashed anyway since the last ROM had a timer bomb in it.

As soon as your phone tells you customizations will runs in three seconds hit the reset button. On the Vogue you use the stylus and press the button in the hole beside where you plug in your USB cord.

make sure in start\settings\personal\phone \location setting is on

make sure in start\settings\system\connections\external gps manage gps automatically is ticked

by the way i use tomtom and i do not use a gps viewer or quickgps or a gps primer im not on a data plan so i also disabled this reg setting

i can get a lock within 2 minutes with about 7 sats

I have been able to get a lock a total of four times of about 15 tries, but if I start to drive or move around I lose it...

I don't know what the heck is wrong. I've tried several different registry settings and many different QPST settings.

Nothing is working!

I am having the same problem. I can see the satellites but I cannot get a lock. I do have a bluetooth GPS that works fine although I wish I could get my internal GPS working.

To clarify: whenever I get satellites I get a lock within seconds, I just can't get satellites.

Anyone know where I can find a list of QPST/REG settings to try I've tried the two sets I've seen and obviously those aren't working.
