connection settings for sprint vogue

I am new to this forum and also new to the vogue. I had a Kaiser before that i loved and flashed several times with different roms. to the point... I flashed my vogue with a beautiful NFSFAN's Custom WM6.5 V11 ROM. Its running great but i cant connect to the internet (use opera, pandora, weather, etc). What do i need to put into the connection settings to make this work... i think i remember making a cellular line with #777 (i tried this and it wasnt successful).

any help would really appreciated. By the way this forum rules especially for vogues. I hope to see more on the kaiser part of the forum too.

Definitely paying for a plan. The question is do i need to call sprint because its something on their end, or is it some kind of setting i need to configure because i just installed a new rom?

Open the phone app. Click menu/Options/services. Select internet. It will reprovision your internet settings and that should be good to go.

Re: connection settings for sprint vogue

I tried both going thru the phone app settings and running the most up to date sprint DCD cabs (thanks by the way, i bookmarked that). I am still unable to connect. Do i need to add a modem connection? is that 777 thing right? Im a sprint newb.

When i go to that setting there is no "internet" option. Only Location settings, roaming, tty mode, time synchronization....

Could that mean that a GPS radio wasnt installed when i installed the rom, im totally lost.

Re: connection settings for sprint vogue

The IOTA cab should install that option. Did you try the update profile and prl cab?

Re: connection settings for sprint vogue

Also, check your connection settings to be sure it says Sprint and points to #777. Start/settings/connections/connections.

Re: connection settings for sprint vogue

I also have the connection issue. I'm using nfsfans 6.5, installed iota and I can get a connection, but after install every time I scroll the screen every thing trails. If that's the right way to describe it. The trails on the icons stay no matter if I soft reset or what. Any thoughts.
