Go to my faq,
there you'll find info on how to flash the phone.
follow those instructions.

then after you flash a custom rom,
install the sprint stuff found in my faq under carrier specific.
then you'll need someguysmms for the MMS to work.
Search for that on ppcgeeks and you'll find the cab for it.
(i haven't had the time to put it in my faq yet.)

Re: touch to sprint touch (xv6900)

There is one small problem with this. Unlike Verizon, Sprint registers ALL ESNs for the network. This means you can't bring an off network phone onto sprint with out changing the ESN to a valid one. This topic ESN changing is not allowed to be discussed on this forum.

Re: touch to sprint touch (xv6900)

Why the heck would you want to use the gimped VZ phone on Sprint anyway??

I can see the other way around (that is what I'm doing), but it makes little sense to use the VZ version when you could use the more powerful Sprint variety......

Re: touch to sprint touch (xv6900)

thanks for all the advice and help, the reason im trying to use a verizon touch on sprint is because my brother gave me his touch when he purchased his touch pro, but he is a verizon customer and im a sprint customer.
