error message mp3

I have sprint touch. I keep getting error message "The file 'filename' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file." This message only comes up when I try to play mp3 files from the File Explorer. The mp3's play fine from s2p or from the sprint music store player. I've tried reinstalling the mp3's but it didn't help. This problem started after I tried Nitrogen. I have since removed Nitrogen because it wasn't working correctly (probably user error). Thanks in advance for any help and please remember that I'm not too PPC savey.

Nitrogen may have changed your MP3 association from whatever to Nitrogen. You can change the default player associated to MP3s using software such as Total Commander, GS Finder plus, maybe even Open With. Info re these is here:

A really easy way is to use TCPMP and associate MP3s to it. That's what I've done because that way tapping on an MP3 plays it in TCPMP nicely, while leaving my other players's playlists where they are. (I'm using Pocket Music for current faves, Pocket Player for huge list of fave oldies.) You can grab the free version of TCPMP that works with WM 6.1 in Touch (TCPMP-0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-recomp-03.CAB) from xda-developers, or here:

In TCPMP, set associations via...

Options > Settings > Select Page > File Associations

Hope this helps, MrG
