Has GPS or AGPS?

Just bought one, should be here in a few days and was confused by some threads. Does it have GPS ie i can use a map program (tom tom) and functions the same as my car GPS?

Yes it does have GPS and aGPS

Many people use TomTom, Garmin and other external apps via the phone
others like myself just use Google Maps or MS Live on the phone directly as well

Some have had reported having luck with having no data plan on the phone and still utilizing the GPS function alone although it takes a long time to gain any locks on location without using the aGPS (assisted GPS) from triangulation of the nearby cell towers and GPS sats
