Alltel HTC Touch Replacements

I was wondering if my HTC Touch were to break and I went in to pay the $95 cover for insurance to replace it, will Alltel give me a refurbished or new HTC Touch? I am unsure because they are not selling the Touch anymore and I'm wondering if they'll start replacing the Touch with the Diamond or Pro. Any advice or help?

Chances are your gonna get a Diamond, And with Alltel its super easy.
Tell them you wanna do an in store exchange, then call around and find a store thats out of Vogues.

So there is a GUARANTEE that I will receive a Diamond? I would have liked the Pro.

Some people say they talked them into it but I tried with no success.
I personally prefer the Diamond anyway.

Will they actually in store exchange my Vogue with the insurance and I don't have to adjust my contract? And my Vogue doesn't have to be broken either? That sounds weird to me. Or do I have to pay FULL price for the Diamond? Thanks guys its really helping me out.

I would LOVE the TP! I only REALLY want the keyboard because I hate the on screen stuff. I have heard many members complain that the Diamond does not offer an SD Slot and they have been promoted from the Diamond to the TP for that reason. Maybe that will be my excuse...

But I am now confused because I cannot go into my original Claim because I do not have the Claim ID and it tells me to call their Toll Free Number and speak with a representative. If I call, can my order be processed with them instead of online? Thanks.

Ok, your Vogues gotta be damaged of inop in some way.
call assurian and tell them you wanna file a claim and your phone dont work so youd like to do an in store exchange.
They will give you a claim number and tell you to take it to the store of your choice and pick up your new phone.
Then start calling all the Alltels in your area and ask what you will get if you turn in your Vogue.
Now if you want to argue about getting the TP, its gonna get alittle more difficult.

I know, I'm just planning for the future when my Vogue DOES break. Don't you think it'd be easier for me just to have it shipped to me and argue with a Rep. from Assurion about the TP?
