Angry problems with music

Okay, so I am new to this, but I am not the only one having this problem. My cousin and I both have the vogue and his gf has the diamond. All three of us have problems with our music. It will work fine for a couple days and then all of a sudden wmedia and audio manager will just freeze up. Our phones will run super slow after that and the only way that I have found to "fix" it is doing a hard reset. Then I have to start all over. We're all running wm 6.1 and the 2 vogues are the only ones that have been unlocked. The diamond has this problem and it's never been altered. I'm wondering if this is just a simple fix like upgrading the memory card (still running the 512 that came with it) or something more severe. I am going to upgrade to wm 6.5 in a couple minutes and see if this does anything but I am really getting irritated by this whole thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: problems with music

Have you tried just doing a soft reset instead of a hard reset?

Also would you happen to know the carrier of the diamond?

Re: problems with music

I've experienced this also.

Previously I had about 300 songs on a 4GB class 6 card. No problems at all playing music. I recently moved to a 1250 songs on a 8GB class 2 card and that's when the freezing began.

I've tried different roms and the latest one worked for a couple weeks actually but now, once again, nothing plays.

What speed of card is that card and how many songs do you have?

I really have just given up on the touch flo music tab and switched to Nitrogen.

Re: problems with music

All the carriers are sprint. I'm just going to upgrade my card (which seems to be the general consensus) and keep it light.

Re: problems with music

Seems strange that all 3 phones would have the same issue at the same time. What roms are you running on the vogues?

Those stock ones usually are not good at all.
The only reason I'd like one(didn't get one with my vogue or TP)
is so that I can flash from sd card while on the go.
Which I'll prolly end up buying a 2gig card so I can unlock, flash,
and backup their contacts just through a sdcard.

I think it could be the card.
Especially if it's a low class one.

Also, I use pocket player, or sometimes the original windows media player, but hate wmp with a passion lol.
It's usually when I flash and don't have my programs on there yet and don't have time to install everything.
