who's the screen guru?

I've read it in here before that someone knew where to get the vogue screens replaced. anyone know where I can get it done at? im missing my vogue terribly. cracked screen caused me to visit sprint and have them send out the diamond. bah! crappy "upgrade" if you will. gf has it and I've disliked it since lol. any who, any help would be appreciated. I searched and didn't find my answer.

Ebay! lol Im sure there are other places but Ebays definitely a good place, people have lots of screens up on it and cheap.

Oh and Ill buy the Diamond off you......I want a TP more but diamond would be pretty sweet

If they sent out the diamond as a replacement,
then they blacklisted the ESN of the vogue most likely,
meaning you won't be able to use it.
I would verify with sprint that you could still get it activated before going through the trouble of getting it fixed.

I'd wait to get a Touch pro then,
just wait till the pro2 comes out,
it's bound to drop even cheaper then.

cody you need to get nfsfan to get a vga 6.5 rom goin ill feel better bout my vogue how hard is it to take apart the vogue and remove/install screen? my first one took a drink with me off my seadoo in the pacific. was thinking maybe I could exchange screens from water damaged one to cracked screen one. also, if I were to send water damaged one back, would asuron notice its not the cracked screen one?

Haha, He has a touch pro 6.5 rom.
I wouldn't mind if he'd do a wvga one for me.
I'm going to try my luck for a while with the touch pro2 since everything is being ported from that and the diamond2, but once newer/faster phones comes out I might just donate to him to have him build me some for me personally so I don't have to deal with that part of the whole big process.

And not sure about the screen. From the looks of the gsm housing
the chrome strip around the screen had a dab of glue at the top in the middle of the chrome trim, and also at the bottom in the middle.
And a couple of pins that come off of the screen hold it into place.
But I haven't had my original apart yet, not till I get the screen, so I won't know for sure till then.

And since the screen would be smashed, you might get away with the water damage one being in it's place. Since they'd see the physical damage and probably not inspect it any further.
but that could be considered insturance fraud, so we can't really post about that. haha
