Internet Sharing

I have a custom Verizon ROM...I am paying for the INternet charing through Verizon. When I plug my phone into my laptop It looks for drivers for HTC Vogue FastData Sync VID_0BB4&PID_0303... I cannot find these drivers anywhere... adn I am at a loss please help...

Do you have activesync installed? Usually it has the needed generic rndis drivers included.

You're paying VZ for internet sharing through your phone? You Don't need to!

If you are and I understand you correctly, get rid of that bill asap. As long as you have the unlimited data plan, you can just use the internet sharing service, which comes with most custom ROMs I've seen and "share" your data connection with your computer.

If you don't have the internet sharing app installed, I'll have to post a link to it later when I have time to find it. But you definitely don't need to be paying extra to get internet sharing.

But the unlimited is really only a total of 5GB of data transfer per month.
Anything more, you get billed more.
From what I've been told when you pay for internet sharing it really does become unlimited.
Not sure as I don't use internet sharing, but I've been told that by a few people.
