Angered for the last time

I have had an issue with the screen of my Vogue to the point where I could barely see the screen (as if the entire screen was one stuck pixel) so I call before memorial day and tell the tech support the issue. Well, it being a holiday I knew that I wouldn't be getting the phone until later that week, so I wait. The date of proposed arrival comes and goes and no phone, so yesterday on my lunch break I call about it with a different issue. Apparently the order had been cancelled and I was not notified (you would think it would be nice to tell me these things). Anyway, the other issue:

The power button is unresponsive 100%. As soon as the phone goes into "standby" with the screen off, it will not turn back on until I get a text or a call (if I'm lucky enough for the text to show up), if I take the battery out and put it back in (as if the power button is stuck down it turns on by itself), or if I plug the phone into a charger.

I'm at my wit's end with this phone. When I went up to the store to see about getting a different phone (this is the 4th phone in a month and a half with hardware related issues) they said that they can only mail out the same phone again. I told them that I don't want the same phone, that it would just end up breaking like the rest; to which they replied that I don't know that for sure.

Let me back up a bit to let you know that I take care of my phones since it is my only line of communication other than the computer, so why would I "throw the phone around" as this person was implying to me?

Anway, I am just at my wit's end about this and just needed to vent before going to work.

that sucks, i had the same problem with their "LG chocolate" phone, went through 5 of them until they upgraded me with a newer model.

Re: Angered for the last time

ive had nothing but hardware issues with this phone. they know of all these problems (probably why they have discontinued it) but if you already have the phone they can't/won't do anything to help you. so i have a feeling that as soon as i get this phone something is going to break, thus making it 3 within 90 days... which it has been 4 since i got the phone in september, 3 of which in the past 2 months

I would have thrown the phone at them and said "Can you hear me now"?

well the slogan is "We're not 100% satisfied until you are." well im not and my manager at work suggested to go after them with a lawyer with false advertisement with that statement. they seem 100% satisfied with me being pissed off at them

the next time you talk to them, do it very calmly and never raise your voice or use profanity. not saying you did these things, just a few pointers. you will get very far being nice.

Re: Angered for the last time

That sucks. The Vogue was one of the best and most solid phones I've ever owned. Had mine for 18 months and not a single issue. I got lucky I guess.

Correct.
Also ask to speak to a manager, say to the rep it's nothing against them or anything they did, ur just fed up with the service that you've been getting from other representatives. they should send you to a manager right away, might need your account info, but then they should transfer.

I use to work at apple and nike
and a couple other customer service call centers.
Apple was by far my favorite, but I hope to go to verizon soon to help get rid of douchebag customer service reps that don't give good customer service.
It pisses me off when you get ****ty customer service *cough*Nike*cough*
Nike doesn't back stuff even when it's their fault and it takes like three months for the customer to get their shoes or other items due to their error. It's bullsh*t.
That's why I boycott nike. lol.
I use to tell nike customers that when they'd call, maybe that's why I don't work there anymore.
