xv6900 bluetooth problems

Hi, My first post please be patient. I just upgraded from an xv6700 to an xv6900. I want to use it to connect to a Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.2, and I know other people are complaining, but my question is different. If I place my 6700 and 6900 in the exact same place my 6700 connects fine everytime. I have to go to the trunk to where the unit is mounted to find this device and I have tried everything I can think of. The software isn't crashing or giving me errors it just doesn't see the 3sixty, but I have used the bluetooth on this phone to sync with my computer and transfer files every step of the way. I know it does work. I flashed newest rom to upgrade radio, used .net 2 and 3.5 wm6.1 and 6.5 loaded software in different order every configuration I can come up with with no change. Is this bluetooth just weak on this model? Is there a way to boost the signal? It's an annoying problem and I hope someone here can help.

Thanks,
Matt

Re: xv6900 bluetooth problems

Wow I was expecting to hear that the BT sucks on this phone or something close to that. Guess I'll take it apart and clean it and try again.. I read that this phone does have the Microsoft BT stack if that's not correct please let me know.
Thanks again,
Matt
