GPS Frustrations

All,
I have been trying for the last 2 months to get my GPS to work.
It was working flawlessly for about 8 months, then poof.....
I have looked and tried different threads until my eyes are crossed.
Does anyone have a "rock solid" fix for this?
XV-6900
ROM version 3.08.666
Radio Version 3.42.50
Thanks....

Re: GPS Frustrations

OK - not an "expert", but I have done a billion rom upgrades, and have always managed to get gps working - the first thing that strikes me is your radio version - I don't know if that version is the correct one for VZW (the highest I've seen for VZW is 3.37.78 - maybe someone else here can advise -

The thing that always seems to work for me is to follow the verizon agps fix instructions (you can google or find them here or that other site) - there is an updated Verizon ROM that enabled the GPS and upgraded operating system to 6.1 - this also upgrades the stock radio to 3.37.78 - I think the radio version you have is for another carrier, and that may be the reason none of the GPS fixes aren't working for you, but I could be wrong. Don't know if you've done custom ROM upgrades from the stock, but you may have to go back to stock, and upgrade from there, making sure not to let the customizations run on the stock ROMS, unless you use the Valhalla patch - there is a workaround for that too - again, I don't know how much you've trolled around this site and others, but the info you need is out there - sorry if I ramble - good luck -
