I'm on USCC. I dont have that particular rom, but it can take up to 5-10 min for the internal GPS to lock. If i want gps more quickly I just use my BTgps. I got tired of fooling with trying to get it to work since even when it does work the results aren't great.

I know your problem the gps satelites are being shot down by evil monkeys just kidding i dont know what i could be, you might of done something to the program or whatever.
Maybe try Reinstalling the program.
