Can't link to messaging!

I am unable to link to my email or sms from my Touch today screen and the programs launcher. When I press my envelope for email nothing happens. The same happens with my sms. So, I go to Start | Programs | Messaging and nothing happens.

Does anybody have any suggestions other than a hard reset?

This happened to me too. I deleted the e-mail attachment folder from my storage card and it fixed the problem. I can't remember if I did a soft-reset afterwords or not.

thanks for your reply. i ended up doing a hard reset. i'll remember this if it ever happens again.
