Question on returning vogue under warranty

I am returning my Vogue due to a screen issue/blemish that is affecting the performace. I have loaded the 342. ROM. Do I need to reload the stock ROM that came on the phone before I send it off to Alltel? Please let me know if this is needed so the phone is covered under the warranty. Also, how do I get the orginal ROM that came on the phone? Please advise as I will have to ship it by Friday. All advice is greatly appreciated. I have Hard reset the phone already.
