Question on returning vogue under warranty
 

I am returning my Vogue due to a screen issue/blemish that is affecting the performace. I have loaded the 342. ROM. Do I need to reload the stock ROM that came on the phone before I send it off to Alltel? Please let me know if this is needed so the phone is covered under the warranty. Also, how do I get the orginal ROM that came on the phone? Please advise as I will have to ship it by Friday. All advice is greatly appreciated. I have Hard reset the phone already.

Hi, I actually have a thread with the same subject, that's currently active.

I'm clearly no expert, but I believe you would want to go back to the original ROM. You should be able to get it from the website. I used the 3.09.666.1 with the 3.42.5 radio

You definitely should relock the phone and flash back to the original ROM. Otherwise, they could use your modifications as grounds to deny the warranty claim.

How do i go about relocking my phone? I unlocked with the 2.31coke unlocked. I need to relock it now.
