Arrow phone activation & programming question

i have a apache and vogue, right now the apache is active because i just got the vogue, however my account is under my fathers name so i have to wait to the next time i get in touch with him to transfer my service to the vogue, i already unlocked it (2.31) made my own rom and such and have it working, while i still have to work out the works of figuring out the gps right now the vogue has a roaming indicator (and its a xv6900 on verizon) and i was wondering when i get the service activated i know i have to call them and at some point dial *228 will it jeopardize any of the settings or things that have been worked to unlock? and also i was wondering how to get rid of the roaming indicator?

It shouldn't...

That will be there till you get the phone activated on your line... Getting a hold of your dad, dialing *228, etc.

If your father has an online account with Verizon (for paying bills and such), you can also activate the phone online.

Re: phone activation & programming question

For the GPS issues I would definatley try the shadow tech hack. I used it on my vogue (even with my touch pro I miss that phone) and I got 10-15 second locks consistentley no BS. They said flashing new roms and radios would null the setting, but I never had and problem losing em, so if your flashaholic like me then your good. Best of luck with your new phone man.
