Can't open messages

I cant open up my email or texts. When ever I tap it, it does not nothing. Also, I had a buddy texted me and all that happened was my phone lights up and it did not tell me I have a texted. Has this happened to anyone or know how to fix it? I have stock windows 6.1 ROM from HTC if that helps. Thanks

I've had that happen a couple of times. I store mail attachments on the SD card and figured out the other day the the data was corrupt. I deleted the "INBOX....." folders from the storage card and all was good.

Of course I use IMAP accounts so I wasn't losing anything.

Try what he said, or try my ROM.....no problems here it;s is much better than the stock

Thanks for the help but I just reflashed the stock ROM from HTC and now its fixed. I could not wait. I did have that folder on my SD card so I wounder if that would have fixed it.
