touch upgrade

Hi


I finally picked up the HTC touch, and would like to upgrade to 6.1 and add gps functionality

I am on Telus btw.

Unfortunately i have neither the time or the ability (I don't have any pcs running windows and getting the software to work on BSD will take even longer).

Is there anyone interested in doing it for me? I've got a budget of $50-75 bucks if you can flash a recent rom like mightyrom or something and get the gps to work.

You might have some better luck if you include your area your in so that people in your area can answer you, unless you plan on trusting mailing it off to a complete stranger and hoping to get it back LOL

Why can't you take your phone into a Telus store and have them upgrade your phone to the 6.1 version?

Probably because he said he wants gps functionality, and they would let customizations run..

I have a stock Telus Vogue which I upgraded to the Telus 6.1 and my GPS works fine and I let the customizations run, so why not let the Telus store do it? Or if you are in the Halifax Nova Scotia area, I could do the stock upgrade for you.
