First flash your new Touch to the exact same rom as your old one. Basically they should be identical were they ever to both be hard reset. They need to be the same.

Then use Sprite backup. Sprite seems to be more stable than SPB in my experience. SPB stalls and hangs during some restores and that can be concerning.

So use Sprite to backup the old one then resote that backup onto the new one.
