cant get internet to work after 3.42.50 radio flash

ok, i had the internet working fine a few other times. I reflashed the bell 3.42.50 rom, and accidently let the customizations run. I then installed NFSFANS rom. Everything works fine except for the internet. It will not connect. everytime it starts to connect, it says "your username or password is wrong." but i have checked it several times, it is not. It seems to have something to do with letting the customizations run on the radio rom. Also, my screen says bell mobility at the top, that didnt even go away with the flashing of the new rom... so im really thinking this has something to do with my problem, could someone please help me or offer a solution?

You can try to flash to your carriers newest ROM and let the customizations run on that and see if that takes care of it. don't know if it will work but couldn't hurt to try.

go into the advanced settings of the connections and specify what connection you want your programs to use...mine was doing the same thing until i did that

I did try reflashing with the newest sprint ROM, and it wouldnt connect to the internet either... i dont know where to go with this now

Ok so if anyone else has this problem, here is the workaround. Reflash using a sprint official rom. Then flash your radio again, and flash your custom rom again. Go through all of your epst settings and be sure that your setting under MIP settings is "simple ip only" and everything should work again. Thanks for the people that tried to help

Guys - im totally screwed.

I tried to Flash my phone with muliple ROMS and now im totally stuck -

I get the colour bars
VOGU100
SPL-00.41.COKE
CPLD-3

I am unable to load a a stock ROM - (unless i have the wrong ones?)

They get stuck at 44%.

Please if someone can PM me - i really need my phone.

Im not professional here, but did you try flashing a stock rom now instead of any custom rom? Flash a stock rom with radio inorder to completely change all the files in the system, then go back and flash your custom rom. Let me know if this helps.

Yes I did - i try to load the Telus stock ROM and it gets stuck at 44%.

I also updated my Radio to the Bell Mobility one and havent been able to switch it back.

update - so the only way i can make this work is with NFSFAN's cooked ROM.

BUT...... I have to keep my phone plugged into the computer or the phone just keeps restarting.

flash via your microsd card. Eliminate the computer from the equation.

Backup your sd card before you do the following since it will wipe your sd card clean.

Grab a microsd (non SDHC) like the one that came with your phone or any card under 2GB, place it in your pc via adaptor/usb or working phone. format it as FAT32, take the RUU_signed.nbh file located in the directory of the rom file you want to flash and copy it to the SD CARD.

Open up the SDCARD, you should see one file called RUU_signed.NBH

Rename this file to VOGUIMG.NBH.

eject the microsd card from your pc and plug it into your phone. Reboot your phone and place it in bootloader mode (rainbow screen) it should recognize the file and flash it for you.
