Why must I soft resart every morning?

I leave my sprint original rom touch on 24-7. At home I am always on roam. Why is it that every morning I need to do a soft restart to get the phone to work? If I try to make a call with the soft restart it just freeze at dialing.

Are there any recently installed app's ?

Install a back-up program and hard reset that will fix it...LOL!!!

Switching in and out of roam is really hard on the phone. That is what likely causes the phone to lock up.

That would tax the battery more then anything...

Also, elaborate a little more on the details, will other services work on your vogue, or is it just the cellular radio. What apps have you recently installed?, how often does this happen (everytime the phone goes to sleep, or over an extended period of time?), etc etc etc

Its been doing this for a while, and yes every day. No real new apps. It does use a LOT of my battery being on roam all night at home, so every night I plug it in to charge, I push the power button to sleep and in the morning where it normally says the carrier name (sprint) on the home screen it says Home. On my way to work I usually wait till I am in a sprint network area and do a soft restart and it comes up and works fine. All apps I have work fine except the phone, if I dial or select a number it says dialing but never connects.
