HTC Touch Cover

Basically the screen is scratched and the back cover won't go on, so I was going to buy a full housing cover off of ebay. Is it hard to take apart the phone and put it into the new case? Could somebody provide a guide?

Becareful buying from eBay because most will be GSM so I have also preformed this and I suggest using this site http://www.gsm4world.us/shop/touch-6...c-210_338.html hope this helps a little...

Thanks, basically the battery cover won't clip on it's messed up. I really only need a battery cover but I cannot find that. Do you know where I could just get the cover?

So, if I understand you, you just want the battery cover, and your front bezel/sides of the phone are all OK? I looked on cnn.cn, and all they have is the full set of the front cover, digitizer and back cover (http://cnn.cn/shop/p3050-touch-6900-...c-277_565.html). You could try emailing cnn.cn and asking if they will sell just the battery cover, or you could buy the whole thing and either have spare parts or resell the front parts!

Try going to the Sprint store and ask for one they may have some laying around from defective trade ins...

Also another option would be to buy the extended battery off of ebay which comes with the extended back cover. Would make the phone a little bigger, but would have more battery power.

I actually find that the extended battery gives more to grip on to.. speeds up my texting!
