reinstalled 6.1 on xv6900 and now txt message count stuck...

This is not the wrong email message concern but in fact txt msg. I sent the first txt message from my email to my phone. the message never showed up in the inbox but the count is still there. other txt messages from other phones have started to show up.

something must be wrong with the database. does anyone know how to correct, fix or purge the db?
