GPS not locking after using it once

Ok.. I have read through hours of posts on all types of forums and i cant find anything on this specific issue. I have cooked rom with Radio 3.42.50 on Verizon. I have the GPS working perfectly after a soft reboot. It will get a lock within a few seconds. Works great with any app i use it with. Now here is my issue. After I close that particular app I can not get a lock ever again until i soft reset. I have tried all the reg and QPST fixes. I have tried launching with or without Astro launcher. My location is set to "on" on the phone. My registry settings are set to verizon IP and ports. QPST is configured correctly. My GPS control Panel is setup correctly. This issue is really bugging me and would love to have it fixed because i truly love this phone and the GPS but rebooting every time before using the gps is really annoying.

I used to have the same problem while using radio 3.42.30, but I switched to 3.37.15 from the original leaked sprint rom and have no problem with gps locks ever. Do a google search for "sprint touch leaked rom" and you will find it. After flashing the radio, flash a custom rom of your choice and all should be fine. Since ur on Verizon, make sure to soft reset before customizations.

i will see if i can find that version of the radio and throw it on there.. I am going to also look for the Verizon leaked Radio if there is such a thing.. Let you guys know how it turns out ..
