How do you erase the previous destinations on google maps?

I don't currently have Google Maps on my phone, but as I recall
Clear Map removes the overlay of search markers and directions from the map but doesn't delete favorites.

Reset Google Maps returns the application to default. It erases the cache, your previous searches, your favorites, your presence, everything.

To just delete recent searches, you may have to go registry diving.
