Re: where the fudge is internet connection sharing?

It's not there in my 6.1 verizon (official) upgraded ROM. I'll try the cab, I was just looking at the modem link but do not think that is it...

Re: where the fudge is internet connection sharing?

What do you mean by "it's just gonna force the ability to have it through your "IS" program"? I do not understand this comment.

Is there and EXE somewhere on the \windows director I can put in programs?

Is verizon's software not permitting it to work so they can charge me $$ to dongle? If so what is the work around, my searches on here and xda are coming up with more confusion then answers.

Re: where the fudge is internet connection sharing?

See on the Sprint Vogue Start>Programs>Internet Sharing would bring up what you need then you could choose between USB & Bluetooth Pan...Well with you not having this I'm puzzled...

What i meant by forced there is a reg edit that stops ISC and the .cab fixes it...

Here is a great thread for you to read through http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=29534

Re: where the fudge is internet connection sharing?

thank for your time but i have read myself in circles on this cyclic threads that keep pointing to another and often sprint over vxz.

here are some questions.

1. can i get ICS working or do i have to use the wirelessmodem option?
2. everyone talks about settings but I see not step by step tutorial that really explains where and what on the phone and/or laptop. why is so much assumed that i know where all this stuff is? (and i've cook'd a few roms on my 6700 in my day)
3. is this just about registery settings after i install the cab and the ics should work?
