Re: How long did it take you to get used to the touch screen?
It's not too hard for me. I use the touch diamond keyboard in t9 mode (I think it comes with the HTC update)...the bigger buttons are way helpful.
I also have a registry tweak that makes the touch screen more sensitive, too, so that's definitely helpful. |

With TouchPal, I never miss the keyboard. I can actually type faster with it than I can on my desktop keyboard with both hands (I suck at typing though)

Re: How long did it take you to get used to the touch screen?
ive used both a mogul and a touch, and i dont have a preference, it all depends on what i get used to. It might take a day or so to get used to the on screen and then i would switch back to the mogul after a month or two and it would take me a day to get used to the slide out keyboard. if its just for mostly text the touch/vogue would do just fine.

I prefer touch pal myself as well I have had other devices and the 2 I stick with a completely touch screen, one hand action seems a little faster to me...It just don't take long at all!!!

Re: How long did it take you to get used to the touch screen?
I have a touch, My Wife has a Crapberry curve, and my Brother has a Titan. I can punch out a text faster than either of them using Touchpal. (and I send WAY less text's than either of them)..
It did take me a couple days to get used to it and I sometimes have to go re-align my screen. But I would not go any other way. |

Re: How long did it take you to get used to the touch screen?
I couldn't get used to the idea of typing on the screen. I like the feeling of knowing that button got pushed when I push it so I prefer the titan.

Re: How long did it take you to get used to the touch screen?
I got a Touch as a replacement from Sprint for my old Mogul. The transition for me was pleasant since I was using SPB Keyboard that transformed the whole screeen to a keyboard.
Doing serious work, like working on Word or Excel, is another story. The touch screen sucks for that. For texting however, I can punch texts out faster with the Touch than I did with the Mogul. |

Re: How long did it take you to get used to the touch screen?
i like having the touch screen keyboard myself, for many of the reasons above, but also because one handed typing on the slideout keyboard can be next to impossible. and sometimes, you'll be multitasking and it can be annoying to completely stop what you're doing to type with both hands
