my ringers are too low, and unless it is a recorded text tone it is also very low, is there an easy way to boost the max volume of this phone?

change from 3 to 5 anything over 5 may distort...this will boost in call volume

Change all the values in this subfolder to 0 which raises the volume due to a lack of attenuation.

I wouldnt go there if i was you. I tried the reg hack and it does make the speaker louder however there is slight distortion. After a few weeks the speaker blew so i had to purchase a new one from Ebay. The actual speaker itself is not really designed to be as loud as some Nokia's etc so the hack just spoils your speaker in the long run.
For things like ringtones etc i have changed the format to MP4 etc from MP3, sampling rate etc which can make it louder.
