Greetings
I've probably picked the wrong thing to enter into the world PPCs with, but I just recently acquired an Alltel HTC 6900 that I am trying to "flash" to use with METROPCS. I have gotten as far as connecting via Windows Mobile Device Center for Vista (no, I haven't gotten far at all). Every Rom I have downloaded from this site to HTC's site I keep getting an 328 error. For the life of me I cannot upload a new ROM to this damn thing. Is there something I need to do to prep my HTC in order to upgrade to a new ROM, just to get this process going.
Woe is me, it is frustrating to be this ignorant, help!  Thanks. |

Have you unlocked it with ImCokeMan's unlocker yet? That would be the first step to take. Look around the Upgrade sub-forum for it.

Thank you. That worked. Now wish me luck because I have now discovered that I could possibly be "bricked". I am proceeding with caution as I look through the post to see how to proceed. Thanks a bunch again!=D>
