PDA TXT MESSAGE MORE 120 hack

Is there a Hack or tweak to be able to recieve more than 120 characters of txt message without it being cut off????????

I have the vouge........

Its 160 thats all you would get and I'm pretty sure the Vogue is set to that!!!

When I get a text message over the limit I get the first one but then the second one says something about media being removed even if there wasnt any in it. Is there any fix for this?

The problem is when I had my old treo I would simply get two separate messages. Now I get one then the second one is blank with the error message. So basically im only getting half the message when its over the limit

I have never seen nor heard of such a problem maybe you should back up & hardreset thensee if this problem continues... Even with stock roms if the second message was sent I would get it always...

i'd second that hard reset. i'm not sure what would cause that.

my vogue has done this since day 1 with every rom i have every tried which has been many...i have also had many many phones and this and some early roms with the apache are the only 2 that ever did it....if anyone finds a fix i would be very very happy

It's the network carrier combined with the PPC phone. There is an extensive thread over at XDA on it (maybe even a cure) I can't remember but something about our PPC phones txting back and forth with standard phones, my Sprint Touch is fine.
