agps fix help

i am running google maps on my htc vogue but gps is very inconsistent and only get between 3-5 sats. i found this agps fix for my carrier which sets the registry and they say i have to set the alues in the qpst manually any thoughts????

dude... unlock your phone and install a custom rom! they have all the fixes, drivers, hacks and registry tweaks to make your gps work like a charm...
