Re: Help resetting stock rom?
VOGU100 SPL-0.36.0000 AND CPLD-3
Update your boot loader then reflash the same rom. ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Users/No...ueSPL-2.47.rar <= THis will allow you to do it with a SD card The attached file is done like a rom update both unlock the phone to allow for custom and new roms :::: By the way i know your phone "doesn't work" so just put it in the bootloader "the colored bars" connect the phone and ignore the activesync stuff just keep clicking next or whatever it will see the phone and continue the flash or update.

Re: Help resetting stock rom?
Woo! Got it fixed! Then broke it again >.< This time, though, rather than the HTC Boot Screen it got to the WinMo 6.1 boot screen before it decided working was for suckers who can't afford locking up.
Here is what I did: 0. Flash to the latest HTC Official Rom, linked to in one of this forum's stickies 1. CoKe 2.31 2. Bootloader said CoKe 2.0 or something to that effect 3. Closed CoKe (not sure if that was the right thing to do? It said press ctrl+c to flash a custom rom, so I did that then got a prompt for y/n and chose y then the DOS window closed...) 4. Flashed rom with Dette 2D Diamond Edition 2.0 5. HTC Boot screen 6. WinMo boot screen 6. WinMo boot screen 6. WinMo boot screen You get the picture. I flashed it back to that HTC Official build, R 3.42.30 M 03 B 01, as shown on the HTC bootscreen in red text for a second, but I would like to get Dette's to work.... Thanks! ~lag |

Re: Help resetting stock rom?
I think that you unlocked it wrong, I think your supposed to get a different Coke message in the bootloader.

read the instructions for coke carefully. "When completed successfully it will show version 0.41.CoKe or 2.31 CoKe and your device will be unlocked." Directly from the post |

Re: Help resetting stock rom?
Dette say's in his post of this rom: "I recommend doing a hard reset after flashing!! Not required but it helps everything run smoother I have found (Have heard from other users as well)" on A vogue ur supposed to hold the send and end call buttons and push the soft reset button with ur stylus. Do this any time after flash !!!
That might get u past the boot screen. I hate to say this but wait for 3 to 5 min for the phone. I say that cuz sometimes it's SLOW to get there. But at some point it's futile!!! Try An OMJ rom!!! Thats what i use. Good luck Last edited by Ken McNutt; 01-21-2009 at 08:56 PM. |

Re: Help resetting stock rom?
You should always do a hard reset or two after flashing anyway not all ROMS are set to the same PP and not all RUU have PP changers...

Re: Help resetting stock rom?
I've flashed probably, well numerous times (5-15 times a week for the last year), and I have never hard reset after a flash. I'm thinking that is a practice left over from the devices that have the external rom (apache/titan). That was done to ensure your external rom got copied over correctly to the devices memory. I don't think it is necessary on devices today...
Edit: I didn't flash much with devices that had extroms...
