SMS's through Desktop

Anyone know if there is a free software that will allow you to send SMS's through your phone while its connected to a computer via the computer.

I've found this program, but looking for something free obviously... and works well..

lets you connect to your phone via activesync. basicly it is a remote control utility to view your phone on your pc, and its free
