What's a good rom, + rom flashing guide?

Hey all
I'm new to PPCGeeks and to PPCs in general. I'd like to tweakify my shiny new (well, shiny used if you want to get technical...) sprint touch/htc vogue with a rom that will give me gps, pointless eye candy, and good battery life. Also, I've tried searching the forum for a guide on flashing the ROM and I came up with a bunch of custom ROM threads, but now ROM flashing guide. Can anyone link me to one (it seems like something that would just have to be here)?
